Dan and Katherine began their ministry at Pitman Road in November or 1984, after serving at the Vineland Church of Christ. They were married in 1972, and have four children. Andrew, holds an MBA and CPA, working for Vanguard in Philadelphia, and his wife Jennifer, currently “a stay at home” mom, have two daughters. Becky is a Registered Nurse, and her husband Matt, a PhD in Apologetics from Westminster Seminary, are ministering to a church in Maryland, and have 3 daughters and 1 son. Luke holds a PhD from Texas A & M, and teaches psychology at Widener University. Rachel works for Lockheed Martin, and her husband Ben, hold a Master’s Degree in Education and an MBA, and is a marketing coordinator and a data analyst for Intelliquip in Bethlehem, PA; they have a son and a daughter.
Dan has a BA in Bible from Harding University, where he met Katherine, who also graduated from Harding with a BA in English Education, both in 1973. Dan went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Church Growth from Harding School of Theology in 2009, while continuing his ministry at Pitman Road full time. Katherine earned a Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University in 1990 while raising her family, and worked as a psychotherapist/Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Dan and Katherine both love sharing their faith, and love using their home to welcome both those who are already Christians and seekers. When purchasing their home in 1985, they promised God that if He blessed them with that house, they would use it to honor and glorify Him. They continue to be known for their hospitality; Katherine loves setting a beautiful table, and inviting guests into their home to share their love. In addition, both Dan and Katherine share in presenting their 13 lesson Friendship Evangelism Seminars at churches and Bible Lectureships across the country.
Dan and Katherine both love teaching. Dan specialized in teaching teens and adults. Katherine wrote a Sunday school curriculum for teaching pre-school children when our children were young, but these days she focuses on teaching women’s Bible classes.
They say, “We love this church family, and would love to get to know you better.”
